You won’t find monotony with Kettnaker. Above all the furniture manufactory stands for: modularity of furniture systems and individuality in design. Over 36 different colors shades are defined in the catalog of 2017. And after the Imm Cologne 2017 fair even more were added. On request, special colors can also be realized. Beautiful, useful functions for cupboards, chests of drawers and tables extend the high-quality furniture systems, which also excite in detail through excellent workmanship.
The special feature of the modular furniture by Kettnaker is simplicity.
A clear, minimalistic design language, uniform formats of the individual modules and sophisticated functionality make planning a playful pleasure. Additionally there are the high-quality materials such as precious woods, glass, aluminum, leather, metal or ceramics, as well as the finely-tuned color palette: the variety of combinations is almost infinite.
Unique pieces of furniture can thus be created, independently and clearly, exceptionally aesthetically – tailored to the individual wishes of the customer. According to Wolfgang Kettnaker, hardly an identical piece of furniture leaves the production. Virtually every single product is really unique.
Founded as a classic furniture manufacturer in 1870, the company has repeatedly reinvented itself over the years. Already in the 5th generation in family ownership, the furniture now comes naturally by state-of-the-art production technology, with perfect craftsmanship and an irrepressible passion for precision. The company manages to bring together the various materials in such a way that no surface irregularities occur with the furniture. For example the “Soma” and “Alea” furnishings work with a thickness of only 6 mm. Only in this fineness can all surfaces from wood to glass be flush with each other and thereby freely combine.
With Kettnaker, the customer has almost unlimited possibilities of customization.
The fact that the furniture lines are always updated and supplemented, and thus available for a long time, creates an additional benefit for the customer. At a time when mobility and flexibility are becoming more and more important, it is possible for the customer to always adapt furniture after a move and who doesn’t like that?!
ALEA living system
The "Alea" living concept offers the possibility to choose between open and closed compartments.
Whether sleeping, living or dining furniture, the basic form is often a cuboid or a rectangle. These clear lines make it possible to create a timeless ambience, which can be “soft-drawn” with home textiles, lamps and accessories in trendy colors, or stylish chairs and sofas.
The “Soma” and “Alea” series are available for both living and sleeping areas. The customer can thus get the same optics for living and sleeping areas, especially for lofty, open living rooms that’s an absolute plus.Click to tweet
Only with side tables Kettnaker breaks new ground and presents top shapes in oval and round in contrary to the previous square models. But here too, not only an oval table was designed, but the size and the shape were designed in such a way that they can always be combined with the square and round contestants at any time.
With “Mio” a new furniture line was added in 2016. Mio is a chest of drawers that can be individually arranged and combined.
An absolute eye-catcher is the 32mm front, which sits perfectly on the mitred body. Typical for Kettnaker are not only color and material variants for fronts, but also for the corpus and the inner life.
In addition, there are many possibilities to equip the furniture with technical finesse, such as push drawers, LED lighting, or even simply different frames and foot colors and shapes. For bedroom concepts, there are also useful additions to the interior layout, such as hanging and sorting systems. For living concepts, socket integration, cable slots, as well as cable ducts are optionally available.
At Imm Cologne 2017 we were fascinated by the new surfaces for cabinets and shelves.
An incomparably soft warm leather, in addition to the black steel – a perfect and really coherent combination. Or the 3 ceramic surfaces in the colors light gray, dark gray and quartz in very fine grain. In terms of wood, the exotic Paldao and Eucalyptus are used. A warm mid brown features the high-quality paldao veneer. With its fine lines and fine grain, it is primarily used for accentuating small areas.
In contrast, the new eucalyptus veneer stands out. Its uniform, bright and calm grain is ideal for the harmonious design of larger areas. The oxidized metal surfaces, for example on cabinet doors, are an effect of the very special kind and new in Kettnaker designs. For us an absolute highlight, since Kettnaker comes from pure color surfaces or wood grains. This type of furniture fits perfectly into an industrial ambience. With the clear fine lines and high-quality workmanship of its furniture design, Kettnaker manages to turn a rugged industrial piece into an elegant ambience.
Kettnaker’s trade fair team excellently put the stylistically very clear furniture in an appealing ambience at the Imm Cologne fair. Organic forms for vases and lamps, coarse textured carpets and harmonious colors accentuated the stand and convinced many visitors. We are looking forward to what Kettnaker has planned for future events.
