With an earlier date and a broader range of products, the Tendence 2017 will open its doors again in Frankfurt from 24 – 27 June.
The main focus of Tendence is on furnishing, living, table accessories and decorating. But also jewelry, gift items and fashion accessories will be presented in the halls of the fair. The trade fair attracts trade visitors from all over the world and offers a wide selection in the middle and upscale price segment of retail and wholesale.
Tendence has become an established name the German retail industry, particularly for colors and trends in the respective divisions. All this makes Tendence 2017 a must-visit for us as well, which is why we’ll be reporting on it in detail this year.
The fair also offers some highlights and events as an accompanying program.
In the “Talents” area and in the FORM2017 competition, selected designers and artisans will introduce their products. In the already known Tendence Village, “point-of-sale” strategies will be discussed. Under the name “Concept Store” practical solutions for a modern implementation of the “Customer Journey” are presented. The goal is to take the customer on a journey of discovery and to stimulate the customers to buy through an attractive design of POS. There is something for every trade visitor and exhibitor.
Two new highlights that we are looking forward to are the special exhibition area “Outdoor Living” and the events organized at the international florist congress.
For the first time there will be a special exhibition area called “Outdoor Living”.
Here, five companies, such as Bloomingwall and Lechuza, present outdoor products for garden, terrace and balcony. These include furniture, plants, accessories and decorations for outdoor areas – all neatly arranged to offer the customer inspiration for possible outdoor situations at home. The goal is to move from single component purchasing to concept purchasing. Buyers can order everything directly there and thus create an attractive sales area in their own business. We are curious about this area and the response to it.
Who does not like to buy in a shop in which appealing decorations convey a desire for a better shopping experience? Fresh flowers and floral arrangements take a little bit of the artificial atmosphere in the shop and almost forget about the time when we look for our products. It is therefore not surprising that for the first time the florist congress also takes place at the Tendence fair.
25 floral designers from all over Europe will design and present their creations on current furnishing and trend themes during the fair.
Participants of the congress will be shown the necessary techniques for new design elements. Theme-based lectures are also offered on Saturdays and Sundays in the Galleria. Also for decorators and buyers certainly an interesting offer and inspiration source.
Under “Ethical Style”, Tendence 2017 recognizes those companies that produce ecologically sustainable and fair products. As customers increasingly pay attention to these aspects when purchasing, the buyer can also identify what sales promotion keypoints are important. More than 25 applications were submitted to the fair, including companies from the segments of gift items, living accessories, furniture and fashion.
At the last Tendence fair, we met interesting companies such as the Dutch label Kinta, which impressed us with their stylish home accessories.
The team of the Finnish company EcoFurn, which also produces ecological and sustainable products, convinced with its chair designs made of different natural woods. Check out our article about Tendence 2016 if you want to know more about them.
We are looking forward to Tendence 2017 and to the variety of exhibitors and designs the trade fair will offer again. Please write us your suggestions and questions in the comment area and we will look around at the fair afterwards!
